Sarah McGuire and Sarah Watchorn are experts in Dyslexia, teaching children with dyslexia to read. Sarah McGuire, an honours Master’s graduate in Special Education, taught in a special reading school for 17 years, serving as Deputy and Acting Principal. Sarah Watchorn, also an honours Master’s graduate in Special Education, taught in the same setting for 20 years. After extensively researching reading interventions, they developed their own programme, successfully teaching over 450 children and training more than 50 teachers. They founded Foghlaim SDL, Ltd, trading as MyWordPal, to provide cutting-edge reading intervention. MyWordPal is a web-based reading app that combines their specialised teaching methods with children's voice recognition technology to teach reading. This innovative, accessible, and cost-effective tool supports children with dyslexia worldwide, making high-quality reading intervention more available than ever.
